The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Movie Review

OMG! I had left my blog for quite some time now. My last update was in February (I guess, according to my blog advisor.. =P~). Sorry yep peeps! I had so much to share, yet I’ll just skip the sequence and blog on things I had in mind first. Hihi..

Ok, start with the brief movie review. Watched Eclipse with my high school friends and for me, it was awesome. Jacob was damn hot! But I still fancy Edward tho. LOL~ The movie starts with Victoria, Bella’s and Edward’s enemy trying to create an army of vampires for her revenge as Edward killed her soul mate. Edward tried to hide this information from Bella, yet Bella knows it from Jacob. As Alice can see the future through her vision, it helps the Cullens and werewolves to strategize their attack. I still think Bella was quite selfish in this movie due to a few reasons. Bella is ready to become one of the Cullens, a vampire and this made Jacob really angry. Jacob tried to win over Bella but it didn’t work out as Bella loved Edward more. Victoria came for her revenge and lost at Edward’s hand. Luckily, the Volturi does not get the chance to interfere in the battle. In the end, after the battle was over, Bella agreed to married Edward.

For those who haven’t watched it, please do so. A few of my fav scene would be Jacob’s and Edward’s little fight, and when the Cullens trained the werewolves on how to fight the newborn vampires. :P Tho, they would be a few people dislike this movie, I still like it.

P/s: toy story 3 was nice too. Watched it with Nina... hee~

Right now, it has been 2 and a half months now working in Johor. It was great. Super hectic I would say. I had experienced many series of outstations (It’s every week now... haih~). I had been to here and there a lot, Kertih, KLCC, Shah Alam, Kuantan, etc. Going for outstation always is quite tiring. It’s because I had my daily work to do, many initiatives, and on top of that, meetings are usually outside of Johor (with suppliers, bosses, etc). Shh, I like to just stay put actually (Haha!).Nevertheless, it was a great experience as I met new faces (people), learn new things, etc. And I like doing CSR; it’s my third time already. Hee~` Tho my colleagues now are very2 nice, to be honest, I do miss my old job, colleagues, friends and housemates in Penang too. My ex-boss and colleagues still keep in touch with me. I’m touched. T_T

I love holidays. Get to meet a few friends during CNY. Hehe, did watched Valentine’s Day and Wolfman movie. The movie was not bad. (But, people who easily get heart attack are not recommended to watch Wolfman. It’s scary and 18PL. Just watch the trailer. =P~) Ngaa, I wanna watch Percy sumthing movie, my name is khan, alice in wonderland 3D, iron man II, clash of the titans and prince of Persia. =)

Breaking Dawn Book Review

Phew~ Finally, I had finish reading Twilight Saga fourth/last book entitled Breaking Dawn. It was superb and the best one among those other 3 books for me. Erm... ok, i had finished it more or less about a month ago but anyhow, I’ll just share what I had read in summary thus far (sgt lmbt update ok!). Can’t wait to watch the movie. =)

Bella and Edward was rewarded by having the most beautiful daughter, half immortal and half human named Renesmee. Bella had to suffer while conceiving Renesmee and Edward turned Bella into a vampire in order to save her life while giving birth to her child. After Renesmee was born, Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. The Volturi, knowing Renesmee exist, decided to go to the Cullens in order to kill Renesmee and plan acquired Alice and other powerful vampires into their group. Carlisle and the other Cullens team up with other powerful vampires and the werewolves who are certain of Renesmee power and sure that Renesmee does not cause any harm. In the end, due to Bella’s power as a shield (other cannot attack her and others who are under her shield) and thanks to Alice who manage to find a vampire who are half immortal and half human like Renesmee to back them up, the Volturi finally gave in and accepted that Renesmee can co-exist with them. Bella, Edward and Renesmee live together in peace. *Cheers*

My December 1 week hols was fun! Hehe, luckily my in-lieu leave was approved. Oke, again.. This is definitely an outdated post. Now is end of Jan 2010 yet i still wrote about what happen in last week of Dec 2009. *sigh*. Even I did not have time to update on PIPE in Nov! I bet most of my friends have updates so I just read theirs. *smile*. Busy-nye. Need to find time to update on things in Segamat, hotel, restaurant and book reviews, work, my housemates in Segamat, January Singapore trip and other olidae trip. Hiks~

I met Shera, Kema, Ridhu, Nat, Nina, Lut, Hafiz, Aiman, John, Ninie, Yunni, Imam, Jalal, Huda and BIS course mates during my hols. I miss them! So it was nice getting to meet them, movies, makan2, jalan2 and chit chats. LOL~`

Gunung Ledang Waterfall + Taman Negara Johor!

Went to Gunung Ledang waterfall and Taman Negara Johor second week of December. As you can see, this post is definitely outdated. Ahah~` Just want to share how it is like there for those who might not been here yet. =P~` This trip was quite close to nature I would say. I’ll just start with Gunung Ledang Waterfall. Here, visitors can have picnic, hiking for those people who likes extreme sports like hiking, jungle trekking and mandi-manda at the waterfall. I would say many families came here to spend time together. Mostly kids would love it but definitely not my siblings though because there are more or less grown up already. XD~`

Taman Negara Johor

I kinda like this place. Most people came here for hiking, teambuilding, vacation, etc. This place is well-organized but visitors have to go through 15 minutes journey of ermm... plantation area “kelapa sawit and tanah merah + u definitely need to go for a carwash after the trip... :)” before they will reach Taman Negara Johor. People say that Taman Negara Pahang is bigger. Btw, I did saw a few tree names in Malay language which I find it ermm... funny I should say. Examples are “sial menahan”, “keledang tampang bulu”, “geronggang”, “panah arjuna”, “tutup bumi”, “tunjuk langit”, “pecah periuk”, “setawar halia”, etc. In Taman Negara Johor, tourist can visit the ‘Taman Herba’, ‘Taman Periuk Kera’, and they do have a lookout point in which you have to walk for 5 hours to reach there. I find that the chalets are quite nice and many companies did their teambuilding at Taman Negara Johor. =P~`

December 2009 Movies Review

Watched Sherlock Holmes Movie with Shera, Kema and ridhu during xmas holiday. It was fun! Sherlock Holmes was portrayed as a genius and straight to the point person in that movie. I like Watson, Sherlock’s assistant acted by Jude Law. Shera likes Avatar movie better though. Watched Avin and the Chipmunk 2 and Avatar 3D with Nat too! Liked Alvin and the Chipmunk 2 movie better. The movie was really fun, cute and I laugh all the way through until the end of the movie. Just knew that Theodore’s voice was Jesse McCartney. XD~` However, I was touched by watching Avatar. The aliens/blue creatures succeeded in protecting their lands from the hands of greedy humans. These three movies are definitely recommended to watch.I guess there are trailers everywhere for movies fans to watch. :) Wanna watch The Vampire Assistant Movie also which airs in Malaysia on the 31st December 2009. Sadly, had to work on New Year. Ohh, My New Year plan. Huk huk~`

Oke! What can I say? I am already working in Segamat, Johor (this is definitely one outdated post... uhuh~). I guess I’ll have to say bye-bye to my newly renovated house now. Tade sape ddk umahh nehh for now... Uhuu~` Maybe in the future lahh yep. For now, i like working in a place which is the centre of everything. Banyak plan jalan-jalan nehh (Melaka, JB, Kuantan, Kerteh, Spore, KL~). Nevertheless, syukur dengan ketentuan-Nya dan I’ll always believed that mesti ada hikmah di atas sesuatu yang terjadi. XD~` I’ll just have to be mentally prepared and brace myself with whatever that’ll come in the future. Ngee~` PIPE (company induction programme for 16 days) was fun. *Ehem* See the pictures in facebook larhh yep. Just too much too share. So far I had been really busy with work. My work requires me to go here and there a lot (mcm merempat pulakk rase... ahah~). I’ve had the opportunity to meet new people. After this, I will try to share more on life in Segamat, hotel reviews that I’ve stayed while working and also restaurant review in different regions. Need to find time to blog... XD~

Went to KLCC twice to submit the forms required for work purpose. The first time, met up with Izza, Charles, Imam and Nyamouq and we go makan2 di Delifrance. The pasta was not bad. The second time, Charles invited me to go lunch with him and his PIPE mates. So, I tag along. Oke, both times I park my car in the KLCC parking area and I was very careless once. Paid the carpark fee and forgot to take back the ticket. Went I when to my car, I realized that the carpark ticket is not with me and I searched like an idiot but of course it was nowhere to be found. Uhuh~` Someone might have taken it! Urghh, then i go to the KLCC management office and need to pay for a new ticket. Haih2, what a day! I guess I’ll just have to blame myself for being clumsy. Huu~`

Went lunch and hangout with kak pah, maya and her cousin last2 weekend. Oke, skang baru update! Uhuks, i have been pretty busy lately. But, once in a while, it’s good to see my old school friends. It’s kinda sudden and in Penang, we worked as a family. I’ll definitely miss my boss, my colleagues/team mates, PCE team, my suppliers and requestors who sometimes give me headache (haha!), the big bosses, and also my friends there in the company. I’m grateful to get to know them. Not to forget, my housemate, her family and her friends too!! There’s just so many jalan2 plans x sempat nak execute. Maybe, in the future, I guess. =P~ I’ll also miss the foods and their hospitality. I’ve been called to serve my education sponsor and will start 16 November 2009. I guess I have to start all over again. =P~`

MJ’s ‘This Is It’

Watched Michael Jackson Movie ‘This is It’ and it was awesome, nice, etc2. He definitely is one talented, gifted singer, dancer and he’s King of Pop! His movie shows how he performs on stage, how he chooses his dancers and the way he organize his moves, dance steps and song is of perfection. The movie duration is 2 hours and he did sing many songs. Can imagine how’s his concert is going to be like. Huu~ He’s 50 but yet he can really dance well! Seriously, the movie was worth watching for me. Liked the way he talks (very soft, oke, sebab suara dier sangat sedap.. ehee~), the way he thinks (he wanted to spread the LOVE to his fans). XD~ Liked the video clips that he prepared for his fans too. Please watch until the screen goes blank because there’s something to watch. Among the songs were ‘Man in the Mirror’, ‘They don’t care about us’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘thriller’, ‘i just can’t stop loving u’, ‘i’ll be there’, ‘black or white’, ‘billie jean’, ‘beat it’, and many more that I couldn’t recall now. He will always be remembered. :)

Movie Review~

Recently, I went out with Jes, Zie, Pali and there’s Mila and Tengku too for movie rally and makan2. We watched Law Abiding Citizen and Jennifer’s Body. Both are 18PL. For my own preferences, I liked Law Abiding Citizen rather than Jennifer’s body movie. Ok, it was my idea to watch Jennifer’s body. Haha. So, here’s the review based on my own interpretation. XD~

Law Abiding Citizen

This movie starts with a family was killed violently by Darby (one of the bad guys name) and only the dad survived. The main actor was Gerald Butler and he acts as Clyde. Clyde wants revenge for her killed wife and daughter and according to the US law system, as Darby testifies against his accomplice, he will only be jailed for 3 – 6 years and his accomplice will end up being sentence to death after 10 years. Clyde unhappy with the punishment by Nick, the district attorney in charge plans to bring about his own justice. After 10 years, he strike back by killing Darby slowly and by using terrifying means. He then kills the person involved in the decision making, the judge, his lawyer, and Nick’s colleagues in order to teach Nick a lesson that he should not make a deal with a murderer. Nick is a person who follows strictly by the rules of thumb and this create loopholes to the law system as crime convict can be freed easily. Nick consulted many people as Clyde was a genius and found out that Clyde’s bought properties connecting to every cell in the jail. He wants to be prison on purpose and create terror among people in the city and this gives stress to Nick. Once Nick reads Clyde’s move, he bring along the last bomb in Clyde’s prison cell and Clyde died in the explosion when he activate the bomb in which he taught to killed higher authority people in security. Phrase I like in the movie was when Nick told Clyde that “It’s not what you know, it’s what you can proof in court”.

Jennifer’s body

Ok, if people were to ask if Megan Fox was hot in the movie, I would answer “Yep, she is.” But the storyline was ‘so, so’ for me. The story starts by showing Needy in ‘hospital for insane people’ or Hospital Sakit Jiwa. Jen and Needy were BFF until they went to a Low Shoulder band concert in Melody Lane (located at a place named Devil’s Kettle) and something happens. Jen (Megan Fox) was drunk at the time as she follows the Low Shoulder band and she was sacrificed to devils as the band wanted to obtained wealth and popularity using demon’s power. The only thing that the band didn’t know was Jen was no longer a virgin and thus, the demon possesses Jen’s body. In order to survive and stay pretty, Jen needs to feed on humans and she attacks boys. Needy knowing something wrong with Jen made a research and found out that in order to kill the demon; she needs to stab the demon’s heart when she’s hungry. Needy attacked Jen when Jen kills her boyfriend, Chip and manage to kill Jen and the demon. Needy was placed inside the care of other people until she force herself out and kills the members of the Low Shoulder band. The killing was scary and when Megan Fox turns as Hell or the demon, it was a bit scary. =P

Around this week, my current boss brings us to go and eat kari ikan sembilang near Jelutong Express, Penang Island. He really likes curry fish and knows a lot of great places to eat. He needs to order beforehand as the ikan sembilang usually finish quickly. I would have to say that the fish is huge. Have to cut it into a few portion. The fish meat was soft and a bit ber’lemak’. I had also attended dinners with a few key suppliers. This week they bought us to eat Indian food. Chicken Naan, lamb and a few side dishes and appetizers I have no idea what it’s called. Haih2, asyek makan2 je. I should be worried and control my eating habits too because my scope of work now involved dine in with external people as well for business relationship. Huk huk~

As Mila wanted to buy HotFM goodies at TV3 Jom Heboh, I tag along. This time around (24/10 – 25/10), Jom Heboh is at Batu Kawan, Penang. It was a hot day. There were quite a few Malaysian celebrities along, HotFM deejay, TV3 personalities, Nur Kasih actor and actress, Adam and many more. As usual, there were a lot of people just walking around, watching the exhibition, participate in the games, etc. :)

Pandorum Movie Review

Watched this movie during weekend. It was not bad. The story was full of suspense. It’s rated as PG13. The aliens were horrifying (due to human mutation and they feed on human on the ship). So, what do you do when you blur2 wake up from 8 years of sleep and find out that horrifying creatures are with you inside a ship? I’m providing just a quick glance of this horror movie review. This movie is about a ship filled with human population are on their way to a new planet called Tanis as Earth was already gone. It’s a one way ticket ship and humans onboard were filled into a tube to sleep. When a flight crew was awake on the ship, he finds very few people and was horrified when he saw aliens onboard hunt the humans inside that ship. He and his lieutenant then get on a mission to fix the broken ship and he finds out that the ship was already in Tanis. His lieutenant, Payton has a disease called Pandorum and he was responsible for the existence of the aliens in the first place. In the end, the flight crew, Bower manage to free himself out off the ship with other 1213 people who are yet to be awake when the ship was destroyed. :)

Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar

One fine day, Jojo bought us to eat Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar at Bayan Baru. *Ayat x bule blah.. ahah~* Jojo (Not his real name but we called him Jojo... =P~) likes to eat and knows a lot of great eating places. XD~ The food was nice. Their main course was Nasi Ayam Dot Mai and Nasi Ayam Madu. Have to thank him for bringing four of us ladies there. This restaurant also serves chicken chop, bihun sup, etc aside from nasi ayam. Sedap2, seriously can recommend people to eat there. Below are the pics of Nasi Ayam Dot Mai and Nasi Ayam Madu. XD~

Eclipse Book Review

Victoria who has a grudge on Edward and wanted to get rid of Bella created an army of newborn vampire in order to fulfill her revenge. In order to protect Bella, the Cullens family having to know this has team up with the werewolves in order to fight Victoria and the newborn vampire army. Edward managed to kill Victoria and none of the Cullens were killed in the fight. Unfortunately, Jacob was badly injured in order to save Leah, the new werewolf. The Volturi (a group of noble and powerful vampires) came in the last minute after the fight finishes. While the fight was on, Bella suddenly knew that she loved both Edward and Jacob at the same time. When Edward left, Jacob was the one who cheer her up and treat her broken heart, I guess. So, it’s fair for Bella to have feelings for Jacob too but she chooses to be with Edward. Edward was as sweet as ever as described by the author, Stephenie Meyer. Bella decided to marry Edward before she is going to be transformed as a vampire. And the book continues to the last one titled ‘Breaking Dawn’. It was fun reading it. XD~`

Meet Shera, Diy, Ayu and Pali at Batu Ferringhi last Sunday. They were there for a conference. Hehe. Walaupun x sempat ber’chit-chat sepuas-puasnye tapi sempat hangout for awhile. Thanks for coming though~. X dapat nk tengok conference as I’m working. Liked Batu Ferringhi night market. One can find clothes, accessories, arts and painting, and other stuff here. I noticed that there’s quite a number of new restaurant in Batu Ferringhi. Nampak sgt dah lame x datang (Haih~). We walked around the night market and then to the Hard Rock Hotel. Just wanted to see how the new hotel looks like. Ngehee~`

Tarbush Restaurant is located besides The Ship restaurant at Batu Ferringhi. They sold Arabic foods and famous for their kebab. I would recommend people to try their lamb kebab as Briyani you can get it easily. Their lamb kebab was superb. LOL~ The view inside the restaurant and the hospitality was nice. The tax and service charged was expensive though. Huu~ Liked their bread but the bread sauce doesn’t really suit my taste. The sauce has this peanut-liked taste that maybe other people would find it as good. Their portion of servings per meal is a lot. Better share as the waiter also advices us to share our meal. =P~`

I have always loved Friday. After Friday it’s going to be weekends and I can stay up very late at night. Ahaha~` Last Friday was fun. During lunch, my colleague treats me to mee sotong, mee rebus and cendol at Seagate. It was really nice but obviously cannot beat mee sotong in Padang Kota. Had to help with PCE (it’s a dept name... XD~) works and they also treated me to Ikan Bakar makan2 during dinner time. Lucky. Ehee~ After I had dinner with PCE (these people are very havoc I tell u, so it's kinda fun.. =P~), Wanda invited me to her house. Her house was nice and had a chit chat with her and her mom. Altough I’m so full, Wanda still serves orange juice and cookies. I'm so grateful. Thanks~ Was so tired during weekdays so going to rest up this weekend and hangout with friends who are coming over to Penang this week! Ngehee~` Deepavali will be next week. If I’m crazy enough I might spend my Deepavali hols both in KL and UTP. Ngaa~ haven’t made up my mind yet. Huu~

Sorority Row Movie Review~`

My first thought when watching the movie trailer. Nothing k0t! Ahaha... I was dead wrong! It was kinda scary for me (the killing part mostly). This movie is about sisters who have bonded for so long until one day they decided to pull off a prank. The prank became nightmare when one of them was killed accidentally. They had to make unbelievable decision in which to buried one of their sister’s body into a well and they had kept this secret until graduation time. During graduation, revenge falls in when the sisters were killed one by one. Decided not to be a good spoiler. Can’t guess that the killer was that person and the reason that person killed those involved in the murder was totally unacceptable for me. The killer was pretty mean. Killing everybody who knows the secret. Uhuh~ The movie was really nice for me. Suspense was all over the place. Have fun watching the trailer. XD~`

Went to Elmondo Pizza as Mila treated us (me and Tengku) makan2 as she wins her company’s singing competition. Lucky! Ehee~` The food was not bad, view was definitely nice inside the restaurant and they played Spanish songs inside in which I don’t really understand but I better keep it to myself. =P~

It’s alright to eat here once in a blue moon or during reunions. This is my own humble opinion as I think I would prefer Uno Pizza, Shakeys, or Dominos aside from Pizza Hut. The lasagne and pizza at Elmondo’s was tasty, full with cheese but salmons are much better from Manhattan Fish Market for me. Huhuh~` All in all, would like to thank Mila for bringing me there. Thanks~~

Raye ‘09

My Raya Celebration this year was pretty much very simple. Meet up with my cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles but all from Pahang. Will have to spare a weekend to “beraye” at my Penang grandparent’s house (Most likely this weekend... XD~) Did manage to “beraye” at my UTPians friends house around KL area (coming all da way from Penang k!) but didn’t managed to visit my Subang friends. Haih~` I rarely go back to my dad’s village in Pahang, so it was really nice to meet up my relatives there. Food was definitely awesome, as usual. When I got back from Raya break, my workload suddenly increases. I was like a crazy person as there was so much to do. My comp was full with global timing from different2 countries and there were countless PR lines to process, need to support global purchases. Taxes can be confusing at times but I’ll manage. I should apply for extra leave next time. Haha!

Restaurant review time! Had went to eat at both these restaurant and the food was not bad. Especially when many shops were closed during raya season. I would say that there are many nice restaurant here operated by the Thai’s. At Bangkok Tomyam, there are many choices of cuisines to choose from but mostly its rice and it’s famous for its ‘Ayam Goreng Gajus’. Western, Malay food and Chinese food you can get it at Mama Mia restaurant (Their Char Hor Fan was delicious for me). Many people have their meals here as well. Overall, for me, I don’t mind eating there again. Picture below shows Mama Mia and Bangkok Tomyam restaurant, ikan tiga rase yg beshh (the taste suits me.. LOL) and ohh, kuceng yang menunggu makanan with patience~

The Ugly Truth Movie Review

Finally, watched the ugly truth! Scrap my too watch movie this month (meaning tade dah muvi untuk ditonton pade bulan inihh~). Its 18PL oke, under 18 years old are not recommended to watch as there are not so appropriate words and scenes involved. But, the movie was nice. Agreed! The truth was ugly. Pretty ugly, I must say, but the ending was nice. =) The movie starts with Abby (Katherine Heigl) who has a checklist on what she wanted in a guy. I would say she’s a control freak as she even has a list of conversation topic to talk during dates. Imagine that! She wanted more in a man. Then, she meets Mike (Gerald Butler), who airs the show called ‘The Ugly Truth”. Mike believes that most men is simple and only want one thing which is to fulfill their lust. So, these two with very different opinion always fought during working hours until Abby met this hot doctor, Colin which happens to be her neighbour. Mike helped Abby to get Colin to like her, and eventually Colin was head over heels towards Abby (I called transformational Abby)! Wished that Mike was clean cut, he would look much younger. XD~ Sudden realization struck Mike when he realized that he had fallen for the control freak Abby (the real Abby). Only then Abby realizes that the hot doctor, Colin likes the “Abby” that Mike had created. And, the stories ended up in a nice way. Dun want to be spoiler that much. Check out the trailer below. I guess in a relationship we need to be accepting as it is and if you can’t then move on as it won’t last long (as awful as it may sound, most people would want to be happy, live life to the fullest probably rather than being with someone who took you for granted aite? =P~).

It’s only a few days before Raya time. Fasting month is almost over. It feels strangely fast. Time flies so fast. In Malaysia, we will celebrate Hari Raya on 20th of September, Sunday. Thus, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Muslims “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri”. May we are blessed and have a wonderful Raya time while not forgetting the unfortunate ones yea.

Last weekend, I went to UTP. Stayed there until Monday. Loving the plant shutdown. Ahaha~` Ayu treat us buka puase on Saturday for helping her to secure her current job now. We went to Syuen Hotel buffet. Thanks, mekaceh, toche, arigato, gracias Ayu~` Unfortunately, my best friend’s car was banged by motorcyclist when she wanted to avoid a car in front that suddenly goes on emergency brake. The motorcyclist was badly injured. Kasihan. Uhuh~` Her car was brand new oke. Haih~` Luckily it was now settled. Police report was made but I can sense her frustration. Nak makan pown tade mood. But, it was nice makan2 with Shera, Syai, Azam, Anep, Ain, Diy, Ayu, Eni, Ridhu, Nana (osmet Syai n Izza), Sya (osmet Syai n Izza) and Adan. Ituhh je sempat jumpe arituh. Huwaa... Nevertheless, I enjoyed the berbuka puasa time, mapley session. Hehe. Thanks for the invite. Terharu juge dapat kad raye. Love u guys!

Before going back to Penang, I received a “love letter”. Wahh, windu surat saman UTP. Shera parked my car in front of Kopetro. Haha. Teringat pakcik guard yg peramah tahan my car mase nak msk UTP asking me to change my car sticker and whether I had apply for a new car sticker or not. He said that the due date to change car sticker already passed and he’s afraid that I’m going to be fined. Baeknye, uhuh~` Got back on Monday, went to secret recipe to break fast with Mila and Tengku. The Ramadan menu was quite nice. Liked the sirap (Dlm byk2 mende sirap jugakk paling disukai, haha). Nyesal beli air laen. Tataw it comes with free syrup and kurma, uhuh~` Still, their classic cheese cake was superb. Had gone to Majlis Berbuka Puasa too. XD~` Charlz did tell me that the place he is currently working is quite different from our intern company. Yep, can sense that. Chaiyokk2. It’s uncomfortable if older people call us with prefixes (it’s a title in front of our name) like Tuan, Datuk and stuff. Cheers~`

Final Destination Movie Review

The Final Destination movie was out in Malaysia in August. I managed to watch it just recently in September. It was called the Final Destination “rest in pieces” or the Final Destination 4. Had always liked all 3 Final Destination movies before this. When I watch the trailer, it was not that scary. Confidently laa go and watch. Suddenly, it struck me. Gross on the way they died but the story was nice (Again, rest in pieces. Thus, mostly the people inside the movie died with their flesh coming out all over the place. Yuckk, huu~`). None survive although they thought that they had broken the chain. Honestly, I did close my eyes on certain scene laa. The story begins when a boy can watch how people are doing die and his death as well while watching a race. He saved a few people and he ended up getting visions on how the survivors died before his time will come. He tried to stop the dying sequence but in the he didn’t manage to do so. All of them died and the way they died was just plain horrifying! Yep2, watch this movie although I watched it quite late. =P~`

I guess, the moral of the story is that you can’t escape death after all. Just I didn’t expect the last 3 person who survive the crash at the racing site in the first place died being hit in a restaurant called ‘Death by Caffeine’. *Oops, spoiler. Sorry. XD``* Watched “Momok the movie” punye trailer in the cinema. Scary. Dun wanna watch that movie. Haih. Barely had time to blog but will find time. Hehe. Blog kawan-kawanku aktif. Nice2, can read di masa lapang.

Mamu called and said that he was accepted as permanent employee in the company opposite the company I’m currently working with and currently looking for a place to rent as he start next Monday. It’s good news. Haha, the pay was good. Yep, engineer’s slalunye get extra pay. Good laa, Penang standard of living is quite high. T_T~` I’m currently waiting for my placement. Thus, praying that I got the place closest to home. Hope that John, Shera, Syai also will get nearby places at least. Senang nak hangout. LOL~` I like my current job now, so for me, it’s not really a big deal when I start. Just that my workload increases but I have a good mentor. Sangat rajen mengajar, still there’s many more to learn. Hoho~` Chaiyokk2 charles, izza and linney yang sudah bekerja.

This week has been hectic. Suppliers came in, requestors and not to mention, meetings. There are urgent things to be process and I grew accustomed and liked SAP system. Just that I regret I got B+ for ABAP I and II @UTP. (+_+)~` Luckily I had short work week and Raya holiday is coming. The best part, my pay wasn’t cut. Ahaha~` Just that I still have to take 1 hour break and go back at 5.15pm. Unlike the company Charles, Linney and Izza are currently working. Muslims can ‘chow’ by 4pm because they did not take any break. Usually before going back, will go with my colleagues yang mostly tidak puase ke café to buy kuih, foods and stuff. XD~`

Lagu raya pon mula berkumandang. Syahdu. My youngest sis is sitting for UPSR and PSRA exam. So, from my family side, Raya celebration will just be a simple one. For those who celebrate Raya abroad, don’t be sad too much yep. Obviously, there will be people who kept you guys in mind. Cheers.

Yesterday, Friday, I was surprised by Mamu when I was on my way back from work! Ok! Mamu was my colleague during my internship in Cyberjaya and we work together as interns from UTP. *Ehem2, I always kaco him and my mentor mase intern... hehe* Tengok2 dier pegi interview somewhere near my workplace. I was driving back when this one car keeps honking at me and then stops very near at one traffic light. Dah cuak, ingatkan I did something wrong. When I look aside, tengok2 Mamu! Ahah, terus terjerit “Mamu~!!!” kat dalam kereta. I didn’t expect to see him. He asks me to pull over at Sunshine Square. Then we had a little chat. He’s been attending interview in Penang and KL. He said he would prefer working in Penang. It’s good to catch up with friends at times. XD~`

I went back to Subang during Merdeka holiday. It was fun. Get to see my new house and my parent’s new house. I liked the kitchen and my wardrobe. Thanks. XD~` Ask my family out to break fast. It was nice as I get to sahur and berbuka puasa with them. Aiyaa, for my second sis in Nashville, bersabar k. “When you are here to do your internship in Malaysia (if you’re coming back), will make it up to you”. Did message Charlz and Izza and wish them luck on their first day although it’s a bit late. Sorry. Fighting!! Huk huk~`

Then during Malaysia’s Independence Day (yayy, Malaysia is now 52 years old. Happy Independence Day Malaysia~ We love you), I went out with my Subang high school + primary school friends. Maya, Nat, Sharifah, Nadia, Ct, Ijaa thanks. I had fun. There were series of catching up! Listen, listen, talk, talk, talk, joking around. Maya is as lively as usual. Nat still the same. Still sweet sharifah, nadia, ct and ija. *wink*. Hehe. *Ehem jugak!* Sharifah is getting married on December, 19, 2009. Wahh, can’t wait to go to her wedding. Sudah plan untuk berconvoy. OMG, kene pk nak beli ape jugak. Ngaa, I’m very bad at this unless they told me what they one, then it’ll be easier (Tanya jelaa nnt bakal pengantin maw ape... ahah~). Just that I’m not sure where I’ll be at that time. Haih~` nevertheless, akan try untuk pegi jugak since I went to Farah’s wedding last year. XD~`

This week, did went to Vistana Hotel in Penang to break fast. The food buffet there was very nice. RM45 was totally worth it. Would recommend people to eat here. In Gurney area, there's a lot of cheap buffet ranging from RM20++ but it's too far for me and I'm working. *sigh*. There were varieties of food to choose from. There were Nasi Briyani delicacies, Nasi Ayam, Curry Mee, Kambing Panggang, Roti Jala, Tomyam, Sup Kambing, Bubur Lambuk, Roti Canai and Roti Jala as the heavy ones. Side dishes and deserts includes assorted fruits, salads, ulam and belacan, ice-cream, cendol, ais kacang, puddings, cakes, and kuih-muih. I might forget to include some foods as well. Equatorial Ramadan buffet was not that nice and it’s RM80. They serve fresh cold meats. =P~

Upon reading this article by The Star news on 27 AUGUST 2009, tibe2 insaf. Yerp2, I have to say that agree to what the article say. But once in a blue moon, it’s nice to eat buffet especially during Ramadan. Still, this month is a month whereby we need to do more good deeds, be more patient and have empathy towards others.

I did go to the fun park near Queensbay sometime ago. It was not that big but there were many people. Ok, I know I should be more cautious since H1N1 outbreak. Did attend talk by doctors here in Penang in explaining what H1N1 is all about. It was similar to the Spanish flu which killed 2 to 10 million people in two years many years ago. But, back then, I would say that, they found ways to curb it quite late. Now, in 2009, H1N1 happen again. Haih, what does this indicates actually? Hurmm... don’t feel the need to comment further.

Back to the fun park, the games are brand new. Even have a ghost house that I didn’t dare to go in. I’ll have to admit, I’m pretty much scared of the dark. Only a bit, ok! I did ride on a few games but within 1 hour, we finished playing around there and headed home as we need to go to work the next day. Luckily, I ride the swing ride (it’s like spinner in Genting Highland) last. I felt a bit dizzy after that. Going back to my hometown during Merdeka day. XD~`

New Moon Book Review

Slowly, I finished reading the second book of Twilight Saga entitled “New Moon” from Stephenie Meyer. Just for fun. Here’s one simple quick glance synopsis. Can’t wait for the movie to come out in November.

Edward left Bella.
Despite being a danger magnet, Bella is into extreme sports, motorbikes and other dangerous activities just to hear Edward’s voices inside her head.
Bella learned that her best friend, Jacob Black was a werewolf. Vampires’ natural enemy. She spends most of her time with Jacob now.
Alice came back for Bella to take her to Edward who believed that Bella is dead. Thanks to Rosalie telling on Alice’s not so true vision.
Edward is trying to commit suicide by provoking the Volturi (threesome vampires regarded as the most powerful vampires in Italy).
Bella managed to reach out to Edward before he does something stupid and provoke the Volturi while Aro, Volturi leader is interested in Bella, Alice and Edward and make them promise to turn Bella into one of them (vampires).
The Cullens are back at Forks again and Charlie (Bella’s dad) and Jacob were unhappy with the news. Through voting, the Cullens agreed to change Bella into a vampire once Bella graduated from school. Edward is with Bella again.
Right now, Bella faced threat from Victoria (James’ vampire mate whom wanted to kill Bella in twilight book), threat from Volturi if she was not yet a vampire and from Jacob, her best friend who is vampires’ mutual enemy.

And the story continues to the author’s third book called “eclipse”.

Ok! Luahan perasaan. Movie titled ‘I Love u Beth Cooper’ was not really that nice at all. Haih~` Why did I want to watch it in the first place. Still, wanna watch the ugly truth movie staring Katherine Heigl in September. Hope that one would be nicer. I don’t really prefer cartoons like Finding Nemo nor Lilo n Stitch kind of movie, but I would accompany my youngest sis to watch laa. I love action movies better like Transformers, Iron Man, Spiderman, etc. XD~`

Ramadan~

“Terharu”. That is all I can say when Na and the rest are concern whether I’ll be alone this fasting month. Uhuu~` Ingat juge mereka pada saya. Thanks Na and all. Siap msg2, call and IM. I owe u guys. Yerp, I’m fine thus far and hope that my friends have a blessed Ramadan as well.

I would say that I missed berterawikh di UTP with my friends. I missed going to bazaar and break ‘fast’ with them. I missed the time where we need to wake up early in the morning (before Subuh) to eat before start fasting. The most important part was that I missed my friends. Although dah jumpe during convo time. But, still there were some whom I did not manage to see as well. Time flies so fast. o(╥﹏╥)o~` Tiroo azam punyer sign. =P~

On the first fasting day, I went to my grandma house as she invited me to break ‘fast’ (berbuka puasa) with her. So, I stayed for one night at my grandparent’s house. They are happy on the visit. Sangat banyak makanan yang derang beli. Haih~` I’m not sure I should feel utterly happy or otherwise. I ate a lot. T_T~ I bought them soya drinks and Tao Fu Fah as I know they like it. The bazaar in Bayan Baru was huge. I went there for awhile only and fast2 choww before I start become greedy and buying unnecessary stuff. Merdeka time (public holiday in Malaysia), I’ll be going back home spending time with my parents and Subang friends. I guess I’ll give my grandparent’s a visit again sometime during weekends. Hehe. Then again, to the Muslims, happy fasting and for the non-Muslims, happy buying nice food at the bazaar. XD~

Back from my grandparent’s house, I went straight to Queensbay to support Mila, my housemate. She’s auditioning for Queensbay shop and sing contest. =P~ What laa am I’m doing during the fasting month. Gonna stop screwing around. Haih~`

On last Wednesday (19/8/09), my housemate decided to eat Ketam (crabs) and Udang (prawn) at Nurul’s Ikan Bakar and I tag along. I would have to say that I like eating here aside from Hammer Bay. The Ketam and Udang were huge and tasty. Definitely I’m going to bring my family to eat here in the future. After we had our dinner, we went to watch movie at Queensbay Mall, Penang. On Wednesday, it’s only RM6 for a ticket. It’s quite cheap and we watched Chinese movie called ‘Tracing Shadow’ and the movie was not nice at all. We just watch for the sake of watching as no movie to watch also. So wanna watch the movie ‘I LOVE U Beth Cooper’. It was released on 20 August in Malaysia. The trailer seems nice and funny. Aliens in the Attic movie was also very nice, simple movie. Plus, I scored 72 shots in 1 minute at the basketball arcade game. I’ve got to set the new high score there although I seldom played. I think I only played twice before. Haha~ I was still wondering why Queensbay Mall doesn’t have bowling alley. Just have shops, movie, arcade and roller skate arena. Never had the chance to try roller-skating just yet. Uhuh~ Plus, I just knew that Queensbay Mall belongs to Marina Mahathir and she is opening up a bigger mall in Penang. The project had already commerce near the Penang Bridge as well.

The funfair near Queensbay also had opened. It’s not that big but the games are brand new. Fasting month is also coming. Wondering why have they not set it up earlier. Uhuh~ Tengok anak bulan malam ini. We might have to start fasting either Friday or Saturday in Malaysia. And Ohh, it’s Saturday. =P~

UTP 2009 Convocation!

Good news! Officially graduated! XD~
OMG, I’m so happy and sad that convocation is over. A bit tired, exhausted, restless, name it. Ehee... but it was worth it. The best part was I get to see all my friends whom I missed so much. I stayed in UTP with shera while my family stayed in Ipoh. I manage to spend time with my friends here. Can’t wait to upload pictures @ facebook but need to find time to do it. Iskk2... More pictures @ my facebook. Did went to mapley, hangout to Ipoh, walking around convosquare and watch Aizat’s AF concert. But, it was a short concert though, a bit disappointed. Went to UTP Thursday night and I was pretty much occupied until Monday, one day after the convocation day. I can see my parents’ happy faces and I get to eat the foods that I was longing to eat since last 2 months. Hehe.

Graduation rehearsal and Muggles hangout~ (14 AUGUST 2009)
In the morning, we need to attend the graduation rehearsal. Our beloved lecturer, Ms Khalidah Khalid Ali (we call her ainsuffian’s mum as there were resemblances... =P~) was there as well. We get to take pictures with her. Then, we went to Ipoh Parade and have our dinner at David’s Diner Greentown. The restaurant service was excellent. At the diner, they provided American and Mexican foods. The food was really superb. After dinner, we head straight back to UTP to go to convosquare. \o

UTP convo dinner was nice and more than I had expected. Tun Dr. Mahathir and Tan Sri Hassan Merican were there as well. Tun speeches in both at convo dinner and convocation ceremony were very inspiring. The food and performance was awesome. Paying RM50 for it was totally worth it. I would recommend my JAN05 engineering batch to go to the convo dinner next year. ^___^~

*Ehem2*. This particular day will definitely be remembered. I spend the whole day morning and afternoon with my parents and siblings. I did not manage to take pictures with my fellow coursemates. Nguhuu~ Sorry for di and ayu especially. Luckily we had taken pics a day earlier with Muggles. But, I am still a bit frustrated as I could not manage to take pictures in robe with ayu, di and the rest of my course mate. Sorry if I did miss from seeing a few people. It was really one hectic day. (+_+)~`

Yesterday! It was 12-AUGUST-2009.

8.00 am: Arrive @ the office. Work commences.
10.30 am:Morning break with pali, kong and kak Ayu. Work commences.
12.30 pm:Lunch with pali and kak ayu.
2.00 pm: Meeting with colleague, bosses and suppliers.
4.30 pm: Meeting adjourned. Go and do reporting, pull out from the SAP system.
5.30 pm: Go back, send my car to wash and headed home.
8.00 pm: Went to USM convo, makan2 and jalan2 there.
9.25 pm: Watched G.I.Joe:The Rise of Cobra movie. Ok, I’ll let other bloggers do the review. Movie was really nice. Must watch movie! Straight away headed back home when movie ends. XD~

Ok, I was not really busy with work yesterday but other stuff. I was very tired as I still could not have a good night sleep. Urghh, I miss my good night sleep. I hoped that UTP 2009 Convocation will be a blast! USM tapak convo was really huge but their stage was small. There are many stalls as well. But, of course, I would want to jalan2 @ UTP’s tapak convo. I hope there’s time to do so. I wake up very late today. (+_+)~` Lambat 10 minit pegi office. Ngaa~ Yerp, today, I’ll head back to UTP. Hehe... convoy 2 kereta. Yayy~` Will be in UTP for a couple of days.

Makan2 again~

Last Friday, went to eat curry fish head with my current boss and other colleagues as well. Ok, the pot was big and the fish was fresh. But not so, according to one of my colleague, he had tasted for better in Juru. But, that one was Chinese coffee shop with fish head curry. So, I could not eat there also. These curry fish head restaurant that I went was just beside Penang fishery department. So, no wonder they can get a whole stock of fish to sell. Even the VVIPs (Malaysian and a few mat saleh (foreigners) went to eat here. My boss said that in Balik Pulau also got a lot of nice Malay shops to eat and will bring the team there also. So wanted to go there eat and cam-whoring. There got paddy-field. XD~

Last Sunday also I did go out with Mila, Lien, Tengku and Paie to Juru. We go there to eat Ketam as Lien longing to eat Ketam (crab). The journey was not that far, however we reached there in the evening as the shop was situated in Kuala Juru, depth towards village areas. The road was small, however, admired the scenery. Very nice view, I would say it’s quite a peaceful area. Juru also got a nice place to eat. But, the Char Kuey Teow inside Penang Island is not nice; have to go to Seberang to eat Char Kuey Teow. Mila had brought me to a few places, Permatang Pauh (anep’s place), Sungai Dua, Perda and Bukit Mertajam. Sumer cdapp... Uhuu~` I had been eating non-stop (ok, exaggerate a bit), but still go to eating places a lot, that I’m scared being gaining weight. Ngaa, what will I look like wearing the graduation robe. Xmo pakai mask~ Mesti kelakar. Yep, in my workplace also a few people would mistaken me as an intern. Urghh, ye... saye kecikk, it’s a fact that I’m aware of, no point telling me the same thing many times. Used to it already. XD~ My graduation day is just around the corner. Can’t wait. I miss my friends so much. Huu~`

Terengganu Trip Part II

At kenyir lake (this lake is very huge and hot.. huhuH~), visitors can go visit a few gua (caves), gunung like gunung gagau, air terjun like Lasir waterfall (waterfalls) and cruise, also island hopping. In Kenyir Lake, there’s pulau herba, etc. The waterfall is huge but the journey took 1 hour by boat to reach the destination. Boat dier tade aircond ye, mcm dekat tioman but bigger. Huhuh~ At Pulau Duyong, we can see traditional boat builders who were busy at work. X smpt nk tgk fireflies at Yak Yah River sbb dier tyme mlm je. In Pasar Payang, there were many batik and songket sold. Tapi tade baju yang dh siap. Luckily sudah beli kebaye for convo dinner. (+_+)~`

Di Taman Tamadun Islam, sangat banyak monument around like Taj Mahal, Masjidil Haram, etc. Sangat kagom melihat. Hehe. There’s theater, games and also historical exhibition inside. We can go visit each monument by tram, bicycle or walking. However, we missed one place which is the floating mosque (Masjid Tengku Tengah Zaharah... iskk2, ruginye.. mesti chantekk~). Bule2, rekomen orang melawat Masjid Kristal, Floating Mosque and also the Taman Tamadun Islam. *wink*… Picture can speak for itself.

Terengganu Trip Part I

I was very tired last week and this week (Exhausted, brain dead, etc). It feels like a very long week. Had gone through and forth from Penang – KL – Penang – KL – Terengganu – KL – Penang. Airport dh jadikk mcm my third home aside from Subang Jaya and Bayan Lepas. Sedey je rase, mcm merempat… huu~ I was rushing in packing my bags and forgotten to bring sun block, shades and also umbrella. Ngaa.. Kuala Terengganu agak panas. I kinda like Terengganu. The building was nice. Admiring the architecture and engineering design work. Ade unsur puji2 engineers jugak di cni. =P~ Terengganu is located dekat persisiran pantai and that is why mostly orang dilarang mandi in beaches. It overlooks South China Sea. Also, keeping in mind that sooner or later, I’ll have to leave Penang (let me stay here for awhile longer, please... T_T), back to KL and dicampak ke mane2 dlm Malaysia inihh utk bekerja. Bintulu ke mane taw kan... Huu~ I might have to enjoy and make the most out of it, aite? Marah dgn H1N1, ssh btol maw travel inihh. Iskk2, lebey selamat travel within Malaysia~ Sokong2 zoom Malaysia. =P~

Well, back to the Terengganu trip. Sangat ingin merase sup belut (ty nk gy carikk di marang or klate), makan sata and otak-otak banyak2 tp tade di Kuala Terengganu (I had weird taste in foods... XD~). Need to go to Marang or Kemaman. Well, we only pulun keropok lekor at Losong area and also Seberang Takir. Cdap2, sukeww~` Currently sukeww big apple caramel latte juger~ In addition, sangat mengagumi keindahan masjid Kristal and the KT airport as well. Thumbs up! My dad and Azam (my bro) went diving in Pulau Redang while we, the girls went to Kuala Terengganu (KT) shopping. Haha... Redang was cold and windy kt sane. KT agak panas. Huk huk~` My brother gets to see corals and kapal karam (sank ships). Among the places that we visited:-

Long awaited UTP CONVO letter~

At first, I thought that our convocation might be postponed due to H1N1. It’s fine by me. I don’t mind that much. BUT, suddenly my mom gave me a letter with my name on it! Once opened, it was an invitation to attend the UTP 9th convocation ceremony. I was looking forward to going to our convocation. Yayyy! Officially graduated on 16 August 2009! Insyallah, if god permits. Nguu, still kasihan bagi mereka yang xdpt dtg ke convo. I’m sorry. Will send you an e-card. =(

Read this star news. Ok! It might be outdated but it’s a good thing to implement. It can start in states with the higher numbers of accident. In Penang also, there's many reckless drivers around here be it a motorists, and other vehicle’s drivers, busses, cars, etc. I have seen motorists just dash out from the red traffic light sign out of nowhere, and other dangerous random acts, etc2.

IPOH: The Cabinet has given the green light to implement the Automated Enforcement System to track traffic offenders and bad drivers, said Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri.

He said the system, to be introduced in September, would cover all states in stages.

He said a private company would install and operate the system and it would be electronically linked to the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

Abdul Rahim said digital cameras would be set up along accident-prone areas, expressways and state roads round-the-clock to capture offences committed by motorists.

“The captured images would then be registered in the JPJ system and summonses will be issued to the offender,” Abdul Rahim told reporters after a briefing with JPJ personnel here yesterday.

He said the Automated Enforce- ment System used a blacklist mechanism that would automatically bar offenders who fail to settle traffic summonses issued by the system.

“The cameras will be in plain sight. When motorists are being observed, they will be more careful on the road,” Abdul Rahim said.

The implementation of the Automated Enforcement System was announced early this year by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat as a way to minimise accidents.

Twilight Book Review

Aside from Harry Potter (I’ve read all 7 books and the books was fun to read! and the new movie wasn’t that nice for me... sleepyhead, I’ve read the books so what da heck aite??... huhuH~), I’ve started to read Stephenie Meyer’s books starting from twilight. I just finished reading the 1st book actually. Sgt slow... T_T... haiH~ It took me 6 weeks to finish reading 1 book. Can I use the excuse of currently working?? Ehee~

The 1st book ‘twilight’ was OK to read for me (maybe becos I’ve seen the movie first then only read the book). Although the story line is a bit slow, I just took my own pace and own sweet time to read lorrr. I like the phrase “When the lion falls in love with the lamb~”. Ok, reality check! Edward isn’t real, vampires aren’t too, but still being engulfed while reading the book was definitely worth my time. XD~ The author made Edward the perfect hottie for an ordinary girl, Bella Swan (This girl wanted to be a vampire too, though). It’s a story when a normal human being who falls in love with a vampire and is willing to risk her own life being with the vampire who might also thirst for her blood. I guess many webs provide review on Stephenie’s books. Plus, I still have 3 more books to go. Currently, recommending girls to read it because I’m not sure whether guys would read this type of books. Still, I know a few guys did. =P~ Aiyaa~~ (+_+)~ Wondering when am I’m able to finish all. Hopefully the next book is more enjoyable reading. The day my sis visited Penang and some food I’ve tasted!

Ok. Cekodok durian is a weird name for me. Plus, I did try out dodol from Terengganu yang dibungkus dgn daun pandan k0t. Huhuh~ The taste wasn’t so bad. It was nice actually. First time merase... tQ housemate. hehe... Sukeww jln2 cari makan but when I weighted my weight then baru start nak cuak. XD~

My second sis visited Penang on my short work week weekends. Goshh, I L.O.V.E short work week. Hahah~ We went here and there and to my grandma house. My grandma (Plus, grandma give us a lot of fruits! Hehe, oke, its fruit season here, that’s why laa... huhuH~) was very happy to see her as it’s has been two years that she has not came back to Malaysia. My mom bule suhh dier stay saner lagikk and ask her to go jalan2. Haih2. I had planned to go to her graduation day in 2011. Lama lagikk so will saving2 money to pay for flight tickets. Hik hik~ Studying in US is nice, I guess. You get to visit local attractions which comprises of many big states to explore as well as end up in Canada holidaying. Ohoh~ But it’s very far. T_T~ Coming back to my sis, below are her conversation with the ikan bakar man that my bro and I find very amusing (I can’t really remember the exact words but it sounded like below.. coversation yg mcm sedikit cacat.. =P~):-

My sis: Nak tambah air ais kosong jugakk~. Nak yang dua2. Ais dengan air.

Me: Haah, ais kosong. TQ~ *My bro and I have our cheeky smile put on. Pasnehh confirm my sis kene. LOL* Then we ordered a few things and abg amek order pown chow pulakk~ (mls maw cite pjg2... ehee).

I guess I need to teach her to order the correct drink with proper term used here in Malaysia. Ader jugakk org mcm nehh! Hahah~ In the US ais kosong is ‘water with ais’ and air suam is just ‘water’. There’s no ‘the ais’ while they have jasmine tea, all those herbal teas, etc. Yayy, luckily I get to catch up and exchange stories with my bro n sis (mcm byk sgt jerk... hohoh~). I get to know that my bro has a new gf from Bukit Mertajam. My mom hanye mampu gelak2 je. Goshh, I wanna see who she is tapi x sempat (maw sebok2 juger.. ;P). Iskk lagikk~. On Monday night, me, my housemate and her siblings went again to eat ikan bakar and send Diana to the bus station. Huu, Diana went back to Terengganu already as she had to finish her study for one more year there. Aiyaa, kurang seorang to hangout2... wuwuwu... I’ve also planned to visit my friends who are taking up masters in UTP and also maw pegi pesta penang in December~. Semester baru UTP sudah bermula~ Bule jln2 dgn mereka juge during weekends. Hehe.. can’t wait! XD~

Last monday was Penang’s public holiday. Those working with private sectors mostly gets 3 days holidays inclusive of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Kasihan government servant tak cuti on Monday. The weekend was fun. A colleague of mine brought me to the skincare and makeup class on Saturday and sadly, I did not take any pictures. Iskk2... It did not cross my mind at all until Izza pointed it out. Hohoh, papparazi yg bagus..

On Sunday, me and diana went out to eat nasi kandar with IT/IS Jan04 batch. They went for their friends wedding and saye menyebokk makan nasi kandar sahaje. Kasihan diyana kene ik0t. XD~ We went to Line Clear Georgetown to eat nasi kandar. It was my first time eating nasi kandar. Sangat byk orang beratur just to eat these nasi kandar. Kagum juge melihat org ramai2. Local n tourist ader jugak. Huhuh~ I guess nasi kandar is very famous in Penang. Not a fan of nasi kandar though. Uhuks~` Then, we went to eat sate ikan and play games in the evening and ate oblong (it’s a big burger but the meat is different from Ramlee burger) during dinner. I guess my housemate nehh sukeww btol maen game. She has a collection of many games. =P~

Ohoh, sangat rambang mate melihat. X sbr nk tunggu gossip girl season 3 to come out! We went to Bukit Jambul, Queensbay mall and Bukit Bendera or Penang Hill. Ader Taman Burung at Bukit Bendera bule x?? Oke. Enough being jakun. Some birds are friendly while ader jugakk yang garang. It was fun. XD~

Penang and the company`

It has been my one month working with this company I’m currently working for. In my department, there are two sections which are procurement and material planning. I’m tied to the procurement site which makes me a buyer. Memang kenelaa jugak since I’m a shopaholic! Ngaa.. My team mates mostly are a bit older but I would say they are still young at heart. Some even got a master in the supply chain field. I’m wanted to pursue master too, but not now, I guess. Monday or Tuesday will always be the busiest day for them. (+_+)~~

Here at the company, we need to wear shoe cover or the special shoe to walk inside the building. We also need to show our bags or car boot when leaving for inspection purposes. I guess, to prevent stealing of microchips and stuff. Sudah juge curik-curik masuk the lab and it was nice. =P~ The facilities here were also alright. Got gym, badminton court, green space (that’s what I called the “laman’ actually) to sit around, library, etc. Selalu juge menghabiskan air di pantry mereka. Uhuks~ Plus, the café inside provides meals during breakfast, morning break, lunch and tea break with meal subsidy. Makin tembam laa.. Nguu`

In addition, when I went back home in Penang, there’s always kids staying at the same place as me waving me “bye2” in the lift. It was nice seeing them as cute as they are. Ke because I look young? Sebab tuhh diorg babai?? Haha. If I were to stand besides most of my younger sis n bros, people would assume that I’m their younger sister. Whut da heckk? I would say it’s not because I am short nor small. It’s the looks. Urghh.. hehe… Nevertheless, those kids usually make my day happier. LOL~`

There was also this one incident happen during the first few weeks when I moved in into the condominium. I could not open the main door, so I was stuck outside the house for awhile. In my mind, I was cursing myself for not being able to open the ^&^&%* door. Why does it have to be Italian door? Usually my housemate would be back earlier before me so she would open it for me. Truthfully, I turn the key out wrongly and make it very tight to open the door. On the phone, my housemate dah gelak-gelak and ask me to wait as she’s coming back to save me. Hadoilaa, cian pulak at her, huhuh... Sgt sudah terduduk macam kerang busuk di luar pintu. Luckily, my neighbour was back and asks me what’s wrong. I told her I did not manage to open the door. She tried it a few times then it opened and I was saved! Hehe... that was very kind of her. Her kids were also very cute. Kawaii~` Her husband is an expat staying here in Malaysia. She’s from one of the Arab countries but I’m not sure exactly from which specific country. Nevertheless, I was very thankful to her that day.

Weekends and picking up my sis!

It has been a nice weekend. I did went out with my Mila and the rest on last Saturday then goes back to my grandma house and to KL and back in Penang. We went out, played badminton, then abes sengal-sengal badan because of rare exercise activity. Haih2. Plus, my grandma asked me to pick up fruits from her. Yayy, love my grandma. My parents were also there. After spending some time with my grandparents, we went back to KL. The next day we pick my second sis from the KLIA airport. She’s going to spend her holiday here for one month. Yayy, again! XD~

My sis brought back souvenirs but the most important thing is we get to see each other after two years! Woahhh, that is really long. She's been spending her previous summer holidays jalan2 di sane. We are definitely going for her convocation day in May 2011. I guess when she came back she’s a bit “jakun”. Haha. She commented on many things here. I get to play around with hers’ and my dad’s new iPhone 3G. I’m not that tech-savvy or anything but I do love iPhone features. My dad is pretty much interested in all these gadgets. I had played Charlz’s iPhone before, so it’s alright. Hehe

KM Sharing Session

I went to the Knowledge Management (KM) read and share session at the company that I’m currently working for. I’ve learned that based on the 80/20 rules, 20% of efforts or work can lead to 80% of production or desired result. But, it comes with good time management, etc.

According to the 80/20 rules book author, we should work less, worry less, succeed more and enjoy more.

They also share others that they have read like Sun Tzu Art of War, etc so far but the story of this miracle man was really touching. There was this particular man who was really successful but his life turns up side down after his plane crashed into an accident. His body was badly damaged and he needs machines to support his life. He can’t move, talk nor do his normal daily stuff. However, he wants to be normal again. He thinks that if he can take 1 step, then he can take 1000 steps. He also started to learn using cards with a blink of an eye as his instructions on which subject he wants to learn. Besides that, he ensures that he breath as much as he could every minute so that his diaphragm works well so that he will be healthy again. He also wanted to talk so badly but he came to realize that he doesn’t just talk. He needs to move his lips, teeth, tongue, etc. At last, he managed to practice and say the entire words and the first thing that he does was to call his wife and say “I LOVE U, honey”. His wife was shocked but then delivers the good news to everyone. When he was fully recovered, he stated that many people fail because they don’t try. So, don’t be afraid of trying. XD~`

Nasi Ayam Budu~

Ok! As the name goes, it’s nasi ayam budu. It is served with white rice, chicken, plain soup, budu or sambal belacan. It’s my first time tasting this particular food. It’s nice. Mila, my housemate did say, “Hang nehh bawak makan mane2 pown sedap”. Haha. I can only smile. I guess now I can live in Kelantan or Terengganu. I was also wondering whether my best friend, Syaima eats budu or not. Hurmm... her parents are Kelantanese. On top of that, Mila bought me the ‘Sate Ikan’ I’ve always wanted to try. Dengan sedihnye, I’ve never eaten ‘Sate Ikan’ before. Dier beli depan Queensbay Mall. Sedap. Selalu I pegi mesti sate ikan tuhh x jual or simply because Majlis Perbandaran is there, so that sate ikan guy could not bakar the sate. Iskk2, usually when I tade, dier ader pulak, huhuh... I guess mostly I write about foods nowadays. Mila said that there’s plenty more of places that she wanted to bring me. That’s very nice of her. I’m just grateful as to stay with her. *Wink*.

Pasar Petang~

My housemate likes to cook. A lot! She brings me to this ‘Pasar’ or market in the evening. That’s why I called it Pasar Petang not Pasar Pagi, Pasar Tani or Pasar Malam. Ok, enough with the crapping. I guess I need to frequently use Malay language in writing as well to increase my usage of the language thus sharpening it up. Advance apology for the combination of both languages. Practice made perfect! XD~

During our walk through the Pasar Petang, I saw fresh seafood’s and even cow head! (Attached below are the pictures I’ve taken). I guess being an outsider makes me very ‘Jakun’ liked. Haha! No wonder Penang’ites LOVE eating. They can get all sorts of food here and their Pasar Malam is everyday although not in the same exact location. “Tidak... Ngaa... I have to control my eating habits.” Even they are very creative in inventing different types of ‘Tau Foo Fah’. It’s a desert made of soy beans. They sold it with variations and combination of colours like dark purple + light purple + white, white + yellow + orange, etc. I’m curious on how they make it look kind of strappy and nice but I just kept it in mind. We just bought fruits and foods then head back to the house.

Back at the house, she cooked ‘tumpat sotong’ for us. (Honestly, if I’m not mistaken it is spell like that, or is it ‘tupat sotong’ or ‘ketupat sotong’?? (+_+)~`). This ‘sotong’ has pulut inside and is eaten with pink coloured gravy. It’s my first time trying and why does I have to be so ‘Jakun’ liked. Haih2. She just laugh watching me and said that she must bring me back to her hometown at Terengganu then we can go watch ‘Penyu’. Yeayy~` Thanks! Na mesti suka sebab saya boleh makan budu, nasi kerabu dan juga tempoyak. o/ ~

It was raining when my flight landed in Penang International Airport. Currently, it always rains here in Penang Island. Despite the H1N1 virus outbreak, I can see that many people still go here and there travelling. I guess after this, I will only be taking airplanes to go back to my hometown as the fares is not that expensive. Therefore, I’m going to fetch my second sis from the airport on the 6th of July. Can’t wait for her to come to Penang. Wanna invite her to go to Phuket or Koh Samui. XD~`

Back to the belangkas story! Sorry for the detour about my arrival back to Penang. I did find belangkas (it’s in Malay word) or so called horseshoe crab in English fascinating. “Jakun” actually. Hahah~` It was my first time seeing one and it’s ready to be eaten. This one person (sorry, I’m not sure what to address this person.. huhuH~) at the ikan bakar stall told me that their eggs are delicious. I just kept my curious thoughts on belangkas silence. The Farewell

Farewell is hard at times. I’ve gone through a few farewells before at the airport to the small ones in a simple restaurant. Just recently I did send off a friend of mine at the KLIA airport. He was rushing. The atmosphere was also just plain sad. It was the first time I’ve seen the sentimental sides of him actually. I can also see the looks of his parents, aunt and uncle, his younger brother, Nina, Aiman and Mel. They were sad. I did know how they feel; it’s just that I can still put up a smile. We were there watching him walks through the international departure section. It was also so sweet that they had this photo album with them that they wanted to give him. It was titled as ‘Kami’. It occurred to me that I do miss Muggles. A lot actually! I guess farewells are simply not my forte. I’m just plain sad but I did not shed tears at the airport simply because I do not want him to feel sadder I guess. My diamonds did fall a bit on my way back home and at home. I guess I’m just used to losing someone. Still, I’m happy for him because he did get what he wants. Luckily, Gmie (izza’s bf ... =P) was also there and he was the neutral type. Even my sister and friends who were studying and staying abroad did come back to Malaysia once in a while, so I’m just guessing, till we meet again. XD~

P/s: I would like to give credits to Kong and his gf for sending me over to the airport. And to Gmie and Mel for sending back home. Thanks. If I had more time I would want to customize my blog accordingly. Need to find time. XP~

My Penang housemate birthday~

25/06/2009 -That was when we celebrated Mila’s birthday. Happy Birthday Mila! LOL~` She was my housemate when I moved in to Penang for awhile. She was nice, fun to be with and also bubbly. I’m lucky to have her as housemate. We did celebrate her birthday at our house, go for bowling and makan2. It was nice. I love celebrating birthday. Her sister was also so sweet that she comes out with her own made birthday card. She did receive a few presents, foods, puddings and a big square cake. We wanted to watch Transformers but the whole 3 cinemas in Queensbay mall were fully occupied. Even the cinemas in Seberang (outside Penang Island) were full. T_T... I guess I will just have to watch a bit late! Urghh.. I really3 wanna watch it so badly! Huu..

In addition, in Penang there are a lot of Ikan Bakar stalls / restaurants (whatever similar to it... =P). They bring me to a few and all satisfy my taste! hahaH~ There's just many nice eating place to explore. My housemate is definitely a ‘Foodies’. My recommended list of place to eat ikan bakar in Penang:-
